Pricing

The pricing and terms and conditions for GPintheCloud have been set in consultation with both ICBs and end users and reflect our attempt to provide the best possible balance of usability and price. Concurrent licensing (where only active users incur a cost) allows significant flexibility in user and cost management; free setup for most use cases removes pricing surprises and our fair use policy tries to reflect real world usage so as to best maximise use of limited public funds. Different cost models can be discussed should that shown here not meet your needs.

  • Secure remote access for any user to: SystmONE, EMIS, the HSCN and many other supporting Primary Care applications
  • Access controlled by existing NHS smartcard or Entrust virtual smartcard
  • No requirement for dedicated hardware or vendor specific VPN
  • 2 Factor authentication and identity security
  • Work from anywhere, on any smartcard compatible device
  • Licences can be concurrent (with varying recycle times) or named user. Pricing is the same for both licence types.
  • Minimum licence quantity: 6 for each licence type you wish to use. We do not sell direct to single users.
  • We also offer virtual machines with different specifications. If you are using a clinical system only, the standard machine is likely to be all that is required. If you are running the clinical system and multiple other applications, you may need the higher performance machine.
